Gregory J. Thomson, CMT

Greg and his wife, Marlo, have enjoyed raising their two sons, Nate and Noah, while making family time a priority. A lifelong resident of southeastern Wisconsin, Greg grew up in Greendale, where the Thomson family continues to call home. Outside the office, Greg enjoys golfing and especially values the opportunities for the entire family to spend time together on the course.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Administrative Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990. He attended UW-Madison as an Evans Scholar, receiving a scholarship through the Western Golf Association. During his time at the university, Greg also worked with the Wisconsin Badgers football program.

Greg joined Baird in 1994 and has built a career centered on helping clients navigate changing market environments with confidence and discipline. He successfully completed all three levels of the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program and earned the CMT designation. The CMT Association is a global professional organization representing more than 4,500 market analysis professionals across approximately 137 countries worldwide.
